60 boats lined the docks at the Montauk Yacht Club this past weekend to celebrate its third annual Marine Max Sea Ray Black and White Event.
The event kicked off on Friday night with a Dockside party welcoming attendees from Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey and ‘locals’ from the North and South Shore of Long Island.
Crowds of more than 200 people rocked the docks to an awesome DJ and enjoyed a plethora of other activities available to them.
Some enjoyed an early Saturday morning yoga session while others chose to sleep in and start their day with a sandcastle building contest on the beach. Still, others enjoyed a Whiskey on the Water tasting event later in the afternoon.
“The food was great, weather was amazing and we all enjoyed ourselves,” Audrey Bess, Marketing Director for MarineMax , said. “Till next year.”

Our favorite AquaSchnauzer, DJ, was relaxing at his East Islip marina after a tough day at the beach. With Frisbees everywhere, DJ kept himself busy. We wanted him to clean the boat, but he chose to simply pose for a picture. He did have time to hoist the burgee! #ShowUsYourBurgee
The weather was great with the smell of snapper in the air. We had over 75 participants, 60 of which are future MarineMax Fish Team Member’s! We all had a great time. New comers Joey Zerbo took first place for most snappers, ‘Local’ Luke Stackpole took 1st place for the biggest snapper, and Vinny Stefania caught the smallest snapper at 4 inches. Thanks to all for participating and being a part of the event. Until next year, tight lines and happy Boating!
We’re celebrating our 20th Birthday all year long! Bring your boat and stop by now through December 31st, 2015 and join the birthday celebration for exclusive giveaways.

This past Sunday was our First Ever Boston Whaler Brunch held at the Snapper Inn located on the Connetquot River in Oakdale. Under a huge tent with a wonderful breeze, Boston Whaler owners met and dined to a delicious brunch capped with Mimosa’s and Bloody Mary’s. Our Whaler line up of customer boats included 22 & 24 Outrage, 27 Vantage, 285 Conquest as well as a 32 & 37 foot Outrage.Judging by the large turnout, smiling faces and feedback, this may just become an annual event for our Whaler owners!

The sun was hot and weather beautiful as MarineMax Lindenhurst celebrated its Annual Marina Day BBQ. The smell of summer was in the air with the endless sumptuous food sizzling on the grill… BBQ chicken, spare ribs, corn on the cob in their husks, sausage and peppers, hamburgers, foot-long dogs and more! Even more fun was the “converted” Boston Whaler 110 Sport boat turned into a giant cooler which was filled to the top with iced tea, soda, and bottled water!! Add in specialty wines and full kegs of premium beer and you can see how everyone enjoyed their thirst for summer in a beautiful evening party. The dj was cutting the mix as the tunes were rocking and the kids were dancing, having water balloon fights, hula-hoop contests and fun galore! “It’s great to see all of our marina customers enjoying the summer and relaxing with the MarineMax family as everyone opened their boats to the fun right at their dock!” says Audrey Bess, Director of Marketing/Events. A fun time was had by all as the sun set and everyone realized just how special the MarineMax boating lifestyle can be. Cheers!
